  • Because every RPG needs limit breaks. Only problem is how to make 'em
    • Would be neat to mix it with VI-style "commands" that diversifies the characters
      • But still apply the limits of an "overdrive bar" so the character will actually do other things
    • Would also be neat if, at the minimum "level" at least, have them possibly be better than any other ability at the moment, but not That much better
      • Like the Tier 1 Limit Breaks of VII
        • Just like, neat to have them appear and you want to use them
    • Also, diversified themselves so they Don't just deal damage and that's it
      • More utility-based
        • Maybe one for each row?
          • Maybe not
            • Should be multiple overdrives to choose from in-battle though, but it is a Command after all, position doesn't matter
    • The level of the charge decides if higher tiered overdrives may be used
      • OR, random idea, after 100% increasing the bar lowers the difficulty of the "minigames" by increasing the alotted time?
        • So higher tiered drives just have higher difficulty, not cost
    • Player input based
      • Because yes
  • Not store charge inbetween battles?
    • Big decision
      • Walking around with full battery feels safe, but if you only will use it on the boss, what is the point
        • Why not just generate it during battle?
          • Will motivate player to use against random foes toos
  • Name
    • Hyperactive (aww yiss)
    • Interactive (more appropriate, not as kewl)

ExamplesEdit

OverdrivesEdit

SveaEdit

Input
Directions are shown one at a time. The player must input said direction as quickly as possible to increment the bar. Failing an input does not end the mode, but advances to the next direction without the possibility to retry.
Unique in the way that each input creates a result that is repeated for each successful entry. Only failing completely or not failing once has other outcomes, which are only checked at the end of the mode.
Abil Description Level Effect
Roar The golden lion jumps onto the battlefield. 0 Damages the user.
1-6 Deals minor damage to all enemies.
7 Deals moderate damage to all enemies as well as TP damage.

Main FellaEdit

Input
Directions are shown one at a time. After the display period, the player must swipe in those directions. Failing one does not end the input.
Abil Description Level Effect
0 Inflicts the user with Debrave.
1 Inflicts the user with a minor amount of Brave.
2 Inflicts the user with a moderate amount of Brave.
3 Inflicts the user with a major amount of Brave.

Main FelletteEdit

Input
Directions are shown one at a time. The user must continuously swipe in said direction as long as the icon is visible. Swiping in the wrong direction does not end the input nor decrease the user's progress, but does not increment the bar. Swiping the correct amount in one direction advances the direction instantly.
Abil Description Level Effect
0 Inflicts the user with Debrave.
1 Inflicts the user with a minor amount of Brave.
2 Inflicts the user with a moderate amount of Brave.
